when it arrived i was a little bit cross, i wanted to stick it up the arse of the person who sent it, and bend it straight again, hower i have now calmed down and am trying to solve it

OW! Looks like an MP44 Krummlauf!
belive it or not, it does fire and go through a can
but unless my target is on the floor, 8 feet away, and slightly to the right, im not gonna hit them

Wow! Which fool would send a Tanaka through the post in only a soft case? Any RIF infact!
Pure numpty right there, that is.

I'd say it's the sellers' problem that it wasn't packaged properly and I'd have stern words with them about it. With the way the front end is attached on the Tanaka, that's not an easy repair, especially considering it'll need a new inner barrel as well.

Yup, deffo one for insertion up the senders arse.
Or at the very least a BIG refund of the cash sent.
Finally got my weasly mitts on a No.4 VSR conversion. Its a VSR reciever so not a perfect copy but the rest is very good
I concur. t'is the onus of the sender that it didn't reach you in fit condition due to insufficient packaging. Get a refund or negotiate a partial refund to cover repair work.

Also it's the sender's responsibility to try and reclaim the money from royal mail if they can.
So really they are the ones going to have to send you the money, you don't need to talk to royal mail at all.
The poor K98k had only had 20 rounds fired though it before Porta bought it
oh andit wasn't me that sold the rifle

RM will in all likelihood tell the person who received the item to sod off and contact the sender. The contract is between the sender and Royal Mail. Give him a reasonable amount of time to sort it (I tend to go for 10 working days) then MCOL him.

Nice repair job, but a damn shame you had to do it! ![]()

The hop adjuster is underneath the weapon, just in front of the magazine well.

Two pairs of Sharovari breeches. One for me and one for Webby. I think they'll need the waistband enlarging, but I have some material to do that with
and a very nice book:
"Stalin's War - Soviet Uniforms & Militaria 1941-1945 in Colour Photographs" by Laslo Bekesi and Gyorgy Torok.
Today's purchase (well, offer accepted, now got to involve solicitors)
Not particularly ww2 related (though it did survive the Luftwaffe):
